| Installation of vinyl flooring
|
| A new method statement outlining
Business Flooring Ltd's procedure when carrying out the
installation of vinyl flooring.
|
1. Operative to arrive on site at 8.30am.
2. Business Flooring operatives to set out perimeter
for safe working areas required.
3. Existing material
to be removed o off site, to appropriate licensed
area.
4. New material to arrive on site using proper
lifting procedures and equipment.
5. Adhesive applied
to subfloor using a notch trowel in a sweeping action and left
for approximately 20 minutes. (COSHH details available on
request).
6. Vinyl to be introduced to adhesive on
subfloor and surface rolled with a 20kg roller. All joints
fully welded.
7. Any surplus materials to be removed
from site and site left clean and tidy.
