| Installation of carpet direct to
subfloor

| A new method statement outlining
Business Flooring Ltd's procedure when carrying out the
installation of carpet direct to subfloor.
|
1. Operative to arrive on site at 8.30am.
2. Business Flooring operatives to set out perimeter
for safe working areas required.
3. Existing material
to be removed and disposed off site, to appropriate registered
areas.
4. New materials to arrive on site using proper
lifting procedures and equipment.
5. Adhesive applied
to subfloor using a notch trowel in a sweeping action, and
left for approximately 20 minutes. (COSHH details available on
request.)
6. Carpet to be opened up over adhesive and
rolled with a roller with a roller. All cutting along
perimeter and joins finished to high standard.
7.
Surplus materials to be removed from site, and site left clean
and tidy.
